Harrison, working in partnership with our client Meraas Holdings, is behind one of the most successful restaurant concepts to open in Dubai.
Harrison were invited to pitch for developing a new Latin American casual dining food concept in a new beach side development in Dubai. The concept and development was to be created working with a renowned executive chef Neil Whitney.
The Latin American eatery Poco Loco, which launched in August featured a two-story 6000 sq.ft. space which included a terrace looking across to The Beach. Its vibrantly colourful interiors were exclusively designed to pay homage to the brand’s Aztec and Inca-inspired cultural themes. The open plan ‘Latin-Chic’ restaurant also features an open kitchen, rich textured layering, authentic salvaged timber materials and a mocktail bar and cigar lounge. An impactful space created to complement the South American dishes of the renowned executive chef Neil Whitney.
The Design Outcome
This unique concept opened in August 2016 and has exceeded not only client and customers’ expectations it has become a true destination in this new retail & entertainment development. The upstairs bar which overlooks the beach front commands fabulous views of the marina, so you need to get there early to find a terrace table.
