Services: Onsite Construction
What is Onsite Construction?
The physical construction work brings the designs to life and reality. Harrison together with the construction team ensure the necessary Health+Safety issues are completed prior to commencement on site.
Why is Onsite Construction important?
Harrison involvement in the Onsite Construction phase is important to carry out regular site visits to inspect the quality of the work and adherence to the drawings and specifications. Input can vary from a light-touch site attendance to full project management organising the construction team and the wider team including the end users and operations teams. We recently completed a new build Nando’s, M1 Junction 27 which was directly managed by the Harrison team – follow this link.
How Harrison manages Onsite Construction?
Our Service includes chairing site meetings and general co-ordination of the construction team. Harrison specialists at this stage include both Designers and Technical staff. Invariably site development will include both designer elements and general technical construction detailing. The designers ensure adherence to the general finishes and design specifications, whereas technical staff monitor on going compliance with construction detailing. Harrison will continue to engage positively with the wider team with respect to the on-going Health+Safety issues at this stage. Harrison services include monitoring of the final stages through to pre-handover inspections, Practical Completion and Handover to the client. Defects visits and snagging review visits can be included in the service too.
